西厨区借助开放吧的形态，由门厅延伸至室内，水平横向的结构除了有着引导性之外，也展示了一种当下的生活方式。展厅设计餐桌与吧台相互咬合，高低有错，木的温润质感和石材的硬朗线条彼此交织、反衬、碰撞。于方正的平面布局里，曲面立面的出现，有效地激活了空间的流动，也界定了视觉的起点，并以此蜿蜒而出，流向内部的空间。The western kitchen area extends from the foyer to the interior with the help of the form of open bar. 有着结构支撑的柱体一旦被释放出来，独立的形体便有机会展示更真实的自我，展厅设计显露于客餐厅中间的硕大立柱由方形包裹成圆形，顶部轻微向外倾斜，不规则的样式形成一定的方向性，同时具备了内在的力量。客厅是家中重要的待客之所，无形的轴线约束了客厅和方盒子的选材区的关系，使其成为空间的主角，二者之间凭借回游的动线串联。

“粹”的构造Construction of“Essence”━关于“粹”，并非单纯的“纯粹”之意，而是有着丰富色彩的意识现象，通过理想性和非现实性实现自我存在的一种吸引、品质追求和达观的状态。展厅设计因而，真实的功能确定空间的形式。原始空阔的结构中嵌入一个木盒子，有封闭的立面、也有敞开的立面，位于视觉中心点的选材中心，借由虚实的建构，产生互动，也可以兼顾不同方向过来的访客。
