原厨房因为空间独立且形式单一，而导致空间具有局限性，设计师在考虑这些因素后决定打破常规。将厨房部分的墙面拆除与过道客厅形成一体设置成开放式厨房，使原有空间增大的同时，也离断了原有的固定空间，让整个空间变得自由宽阔，采光充足。厨房与餐、客厅之间设置了一道隐形推拉门，分隔油烟享受厨房与生活的独立空间。
