Designer thought a good design is based on humanistic care , and imperceptibly change our lifestyle; a good design seeks a transcendent interest, delight our mood and senses; a good design rescues souls which are obsessed with stakes in the world by aesthetics, and also upgrade our taste. Most of time, what you need to lead is a lifestyle and attitude, not restrained in a certain style. This project has perfectly reflected the concept. The villa is located in an ancient southern city--Shaoxing, known as "Oriental Venice". The building consists of four floors including the attic. Drawing room, entertainment and work area are on the basement, while the public activity areas such as living room, dining room and kitchen are on the first floor, on the second floor there are three bedrooms, and the third floor is the master suite and a cloakroom. 700 square metres' living space are well equipped, designer pay attention to transparent, natural, comfortable and convenient to make the space and style more modern. Therefore, designer get through the wall between dining room and kitchen on the first floor, and the only boundary of space are the symmetrical door openings. The style of entertainment space on the basement is light industrial style, and open study, drawing room and fitness area become one more convivial entertainment space, while the relatively independent video room provide privacy and good audio experience.

设计者认为良善的设计以人性关怀为基础，潜移默化地改变着我们日常生活与生活方式，追寻超然意趣，畅快淋漓地，愉悦我们的感官，也愉悦我们的心情，通过审美的超越性救渡纠缠于世俗利害关系中的心灵，提升我们的品味。很多时候，需要引导的是一种生活方式和态度，而不是局限于某种风格…本案设计正是恰到好处的将这一理念体现的淋漓尽致。别墅坐落在素有东方威尼斯之称的江南古城绍兴，建筑一共四层（包括阁楼）客厅、餐厅、厨房等公共活动区设于一层，会客区娱乐区工作区在地下层，二层设三间卧室，三层即为主卧套房衣帽间，附带中导台。700平方米的居住空间功能设置齐备，为了呈现更为年轻化的配置，使其生活方式和形态也都更趋向于现代感，空间感受上格外注重通透、自然、舒适、方便。为此，一层将客餐厅、西厨房打通，融为一体，只是通过对称的门洞作为空间分割的界定。地下室活动空间，定位为轻工业风格，开放式书房与会客区吧台健身区融为一体，形成一个更欢乐的娱乐空间，而相对独立又有关联的影音室增加了一定的私密性和保证享受影音过程的品质。
