色彩

空间整体以陶土的砖红色为基本色，灵感来源于从场地望向太湖的夕阳。不同于中式山水画的黑白，自然界的色彩是丰富而热烈的。因此民宿主体部分采用了粗糙质感的涂料，小圆筒体量用陶砖贴面强调。简单的建筑造型和质朴的材质互相衬托，同色系不同材料让建筑立面的丰富度和可读性得以提升。热烈的色彩刺激人们的感官，在落日时，这种感受将达到顶峰。建筑物既是作为框景存在的画框，也可以是以自然为背景的视觉主体。

The overall color of the space is the brick red of terra cotta as the basic color, inspired by the sunset looking towards Taihu Lake from the grounds. Unlike the black and white of Chinese landscape paintings, the colors of nature are rich and warm. Therefore the main part of the B&B is painted with rough texture, and the small cylinder volume is emphasized with ceramic brick veneer. Simple architectural shapes and rustic materials set each other off, and different materials of the same color make the richness and readability of the building façade enhanced. The warm colors stimulate the senses, which will reach its peak at sunset. The building is both a picture frame that exists as a framed scene and a visual subject with nature as a backdrop.

平衡和克制

在项目实施的过程中，设计团队通常要面临很多复杂的情况，特别是如何通过设计，让新与旧，自然和人工在场地内达到一个平衡。通过多次现场的调研和场地状况的解读，我们认为“简单”是解决复杂难题最有效的办法。通过简单的几何体，使得建筑从自然环境的底图中浮现出来，同时又不过分抢眼。通过单一颜色不同材质的表达，更加强调了建筑形体的“简单”。同时让建筑在近人尺度表达出设计细节。建筑形态与内部空间的设计，与其功能具有一致性，拒绝“炫技”式的表达。希望使用者在空间中可以感受到建筑与自然之美。

In the process of project implementation, the design team usually has to face a lot of complicated situations, especially how to make a balance between the new and the old, the natural and the artificial in the site through design. Through many on-site researches and interpretation of the site conditions, we believe that “simplicity” is the most effective way to solve complex problems. Through simple geometry, the building emerges from the natural environment without being overly conspicuous. The expression of different materials in a single color emphasizes the “simplicity” of the building form. At the same time, the building expresses the design details at a close human scale. The design of the building form and interior space is consistent with its function, and refuses to be expressed in a “showy” way. It is hoped that users can feel the beauty of architecture and nature in the space.
