马格里特Magritte，Rene(1898～1967)比利时画家，是超现实主义重要代表人物，拥有很多成功作品，而且他的很多作品都和他自己有关。在他看来，人的眼睛只是一面错误的镜子，因为它所得到的只是自然的幻影，而不是自然本身。装修设计在马格里特的作品中，梦幻的感觉并不由于歪曲和变形，而是正常可见的事物放置在一起的冲突感。

“超现实主义”的创作方法是对以往以理性、现实为特征的现实主义的反动，目的在于对真实的深层次探索和表现，即有意将抽象意境与具象实体搭配，构成一种既具体又模糊的虚实相交的境界，从而给读者提供了追寻艺术家个体感受的信息。这与中国古人强调“超以象外，得其圜中”的境界吻合，在“虚”与“实”的处理中，“虚”的部分更是艺术家想象力飞翔驰骋之处，并，在这两者之间取得恰到妙处的平衡，艺术如此，设计也如此。
