负一层则被定义为更为动态的综合性社交空间。在这一空间里，自由，仍然是不变的主题。但这不仅限于空间动线的自由。同时在使用功能的组合形态、视觉化的情绪处理、三亚度假别墅设计以及室内外的通达形式等关系上，均有所表达。也正因为家庭成员的多元性，其功能诉求也呈现出多元的状态。所以在这一空间当中，我们以一个满足全家庭使用的多功能休闲空间为中心，向靠山墙的部分，由内之外扩展出了以中西厨、日常餐厅、儿童餐厅为一体的日常生活配套空间。而与日常餐厅相连的则是棋牌室，以此满足年长家庭成员的娱乐需求。多功能厅背后则延展出来一个可以满足全家人同桌共餐的独立宴会厅，该宴会厅两面采光，一面通达至室外花园部分，而另一面则可以通过一个天井花园步入到酒吧区。以此烘托出更具品质的就餐氛围。同时，我们考虑到可能存在的宴请诉求，以及因此而产生的留宿可能。所以在负一层的功能设置上，我们则以室外动线考虑了一间独立的客房，以备不时之需。
The negative floor is defined as a more dynamic and comprehensive social space. In this space, freedom is still the constant theme. But this is not only limited to the freedom of spatial movement. At the same time, there are output themes in the relationship between the combined form of use functions, the visualized emotional treatment, and the form of access between the interior and exterior. Because of the diversity of the family members, their functional demands also present a diversity of states.Therefore, in this space, we centered on a multi-functional leisure space for the whole family, and expanded the part against the mountain wall from the inside to the outside to create a daily life supporting space with a Chinese and Western kitchen, a daily dining room and a children's dining room.Connected to the daily dining room is a chess and card room to meet the entertainment needs of the older family members. Behind the multi-functional hall, a separate banquet room is extended to accommodate the whole family at the same table. The banquet room is lighted on two sides, with one side leading to the outdoor garden and the other side leading to the bar area through a patio garden. This creates a more quality dining atmosphere. At the same time, we take into account the possible demand for banquets and the possibility of staying overnight. Therefore, on the negative floor, we have considered a separate guest room with an outdoor movement line, just in case.
